Project background

Wetskills-South Africa 2014 was the second edition of the Water Challenge in South Africa. Wetskills is a two-week event for Dutch and international students and fresh graduates challenging them to come with out-of-box concepts. The Challenge was organized around the WISA conference in Nelspruit. The program aims at improving knowledge and skills of participants on international cooperation and teambuilding.


World Water Academy was one of the case owners. After the final presentation, the jury awarded the WWA team as winners with the concept ‘Investing in ‘heart’ware – creating the KnowledgePool’. The participants of Rand Water Academy implemented this concept in the mentoring system of Rand Water.
