Project background
The Centre of Expertise (CoE) in Durban is established as a Netherlands-Southern African ‘Centre of Expertise’ for water supply and sanitation, hosted at eThekwini Water & Sanitation. The ‘Centre of Expertise’ is aimed to be instrumental in unlocking the added value of the Dutch water sector in a win-win approach with the Southern African Partners, by implementing new technologies, best practices and/ or innovations (as showcases).
Results
WorldWater Academy (AquaDactics), as one of the founding fathers, supported the initiation of this organization and supported the foundation of a sustainable structure for this initiative. Besides AquaDactics is in charge for the design, development and delivery of practical training courses to sustain and disseminate the gained knowledge, skills and experiences during the implementation of the showcases within the Center of Expertise.
