Project background
eThekwini Water & Sanitation (EWS) wanted to organize the roll out the already developed course Wastewater Treatment for Process Controllers in the organization. All process controllers are deemed to follow the course and pass the exam in coming years. Due to the numbers of process controllers to be trained, EWS needs a larger pool of trainers. EWS aims to deliver a Training of Trainers course for twenty staff members (engineers, superintendents).
Results
World Water Academy developed the Training of Trainers programme. Twenty staff members of eThekwini Water & Sanitation (EWS) were trained in two shifts by WWA trainers. The didactical topics and assignments were tailored to the wastewater treatment course. WWA mentored the trainers during the assignments and advised EWS about the best trainers.
