Project: Enhancing Institutional Capacity in Water and Wastewater Treatment

Location: Pretoria

Period: 2010-2015

Project background

Even though South Africa has a good legislation and generally high level of knowledge and technology on water topics, there are vast practical water and sanitation (WATSAN) problems. This project aims at developing capacity in the WATSAN sector in South Africa for better provision of services through improved quality of water and wastewater treatment.

Results

World Water Academy developed the capacity building program for the employees. This includes the guidance of a need assessment, the development of courses materials and the delivery of courses.
